CoLabs is a student-run tutoring organisation. We tutor mathematics one to one, or with up to 3 students in the same session, and every tutor is a student excelling in IBDP Maths AA HL.

Who we are
A tutoring organisation run by students, for students.
CoLabs connects students who are ahead in a subject with students who could use extra support in that same subject, through structured sessions, one to one or in groups of up to 3. We are starting with mathematics, and will grow into more subjects over time.
The part that matters is the structure. Tutors do not just get told to go help someone. They get a toolkit and a study guide before their first session, every booking has a fixed time slot, and sessions are scheduled to repeat. Most peer tutoring falls apart because none of that exists.

Pick a date and a time, say what you want to work on, and send the request. You do not have to choose a tutor.

We match you with a tutor
We confirm your slot within a day and put you with the tutor who fits your topic and your time.

You get a text two days before
Two days before the session your contact person messages you with your tutor, the time and where to meet.

The session, then weekly
One hour, one to one or with up to 3 students. Your tutor arrives with a study guide and a session toolkit, and you can keep a repeating slot.

Every tutor excels in IBDP AA HL.
Analysis and Approaches at Higher Level is the hardest maths route in the IB Diploma, and our tutors are taking it and doing well in it. That is the level they work at, so whatever maths you bring them, they have been through it recently and know where people get stuck.

You pay per one hour session, per tutor. Nothing is bundled, there is no sign-up fee, and you can stop whenever you want.
Book

Every session is one hour. Weekdays run from 16.00 to 18.00, weekends from 09.00 to 17.00. Pick a time and we match you with a tutor, or choose one yourself. Need a time outside these hours? Suggest one and we will work it out with your tutor.
Two days before your session
Your contact person texts you with your tutor's name, the exact time and where to meet, so nothing is left to guess on the day.
Paying
Payment is settled directly with CoLabs after your slot is confirmed. Rates are per tutor and are listed above, so you always know the price before you book.

Things people ask.
How much does a session cost?
It depends on the tutor. Rates run from Rp 150.000 to Rp 200.000 for a one hour session, and each tutor's rate is listed on their card. You pay per session, so there is nothing to commit to up front.
Who are the tutors?
Students taking IBDP Maths: Analysis and Approaches HL and excelling in it. They tutor mathematics at any level up to that, and they are trained with a toolkit and a study guide before their first session.
Can I book with friends?
Yes. A session is one to one by default, but up to 3 students can share one. Pick how many of you there are when you book, and bring people working on the same topics so the hour stays useful for everyone.
When can I book?
Weekdays between 16.00 and 18.00, and weekends between 09.00 and 17.00. Every session is one hour long.
How do I know which tutor I get?
By default we match you. We look at the topic you wrote and the slot you picked, then confirm your tutor within a day, and two days before the session your contact person texts you the details. If you would rather choose yourself, switch to the second option when you book.

Both, depending on the pair. Tell us which you prefer when you book and we will match you accordingly.
